The Georgetown RISE Youth Corps Spring 2019 Internships
Do you know a Coastal Carolina University student with an interest in gaining first-hand career experience? An interest in sustainable development? An opportunity to be paid while practicing real-life skills? Please help us spread the word about this exciting opportunity!
The United Nations Georgetown RISE Youth Corps initiative is a high impact, transformative learning program centered on real life skills and experiences in Georgetown County. The internship offers an integrated teaching/learning component that links county goals to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The Youth Corps is intended to contribute to our industry and public institutions, and also to inspire a new generation of professionals in our county to live, work, and play here.
Spring Internships are paid $2,000 for 13 weeks to begin January 14th. Students will have to arrange a work schedule with employers prior to the start date. A minimum of 15 hours per week in the internship is required, in addition to a three credit class on Mondays 4-6pm in Georgetown.
