Georgetown RISE will host an interactive Role Play Simulation on Flooding at the MI2020 Annual Fall Chowder Talk will be held on Thursday, November 1st from 5:30PM-7:30PM at the Murrells Inlet Community Center (4462 Murrells Inlet Rd, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
This Chowder Talk will include an interactive role play simulation on flooding and sea level rise and free chowder! Attendees will be asked to participate in small group discussions on community planning for flooding issues. The Role Play Simulation was developed as part of a NOAA grant project and is being implemented with multiple workshops in Georgetown County.
Two annual awards will also be presented at the Fall Chowder Talk – the “Volunteer of the Year Award” and the “Golden Oyster Award for Environmental Stewardship.”
