Community Workshop on Flooding: Town of Andrews

Community Workshop: Georgetown RISE and Black River United Way have partnered to host an Interactive Dialogue on Flooding and other Climate Issues on May 2nd, 9:30AM – 12:00PM at the Andrews Church of God, 310 N Morgan Avenue, Andrews, SC.

This is a FREE event, but registration is required. Refreshments are provided.

What? This interactive workshop is an opportunity to discuss the issue of flooding in the Town of Andrews and Georgetown County. Participants will simulate community planning and decision making in small groups.

Why participate? Participants will have the opportunity to share their reflections on the workshop and their experiences with recent flooding. Feedback from this workshop will be shared in a report to the general public and county leaders.

Who should attend: Anyone is welcome to attend – concerned citizens, government staff, business owners, community leaders, students, etc.
